Match Strikers or "Pyrogenes" were a common feature in European pubs, cafes and restaurants in the early 20th century. Typically made of porcelain, these ubiquitous objects were used to advertise a variety of products such as fine liqueurs.
This box set contains six beautifully hand screen printed cards. Each of the six cards, is a unique original design of a vintage Match Striker.
Each card comes with a complimentary envelope and measures approximately: 4.25" x 5.5"
6-cards are packaged in a clear cellophane box.
